I have the 342 watt, 4 foot, outer orbit fixture. One row of the dual actinic flourescent lamps works. The other row does not. I swap the lamp from the working side to the non-working side, still no light. Am assuming that a ballast is malfunctioning. Can you tell me what I need for a replacment ballast?
Thank you for contacting Current-USA.
Unfortunately we are not going to be able to give you an exact link to the ballast you require without a serial number or model number of the fixture you have. Current-USA never manufactured a 48" Outer Orbit which was 342 watts. The only 342 watt fixture manufactured was a 36" Outer Orbit which used 96w compact fluorescent lamps.
Most replacement ballasts can be purchased directly from the manufacturer here:

I am sorry. You are correct. My fixture is the 36" 342 watt Outer Orbit that uses the 96W compact flourescent lamps. I just do not remember and cannot seem to find any information that has the model number for that fixture. I used to be able to get it off the Current-USA website, but did not seem to find it just before I sent in this request.
You can actually purchase the replacement ballast directly from the manufacturer here:
